Chicago is almost there, as evidenced by winning streaks and losing streaks. The turnovers are killing them. Pheesa and Syl both had turnovers inside that I would attribute to poor entry passes. You don't bounce a knee-high pass into the low post, especially when the opponent has been doubling (or tripling) down. There were a lot of passes made that were just impossible to complete.

I thought Napheesa had a pretty good defensive game. She spent most of it on Atkins and Delle Donne. I was especially impressed by a couple of plays when Elena tried to take Napheesa off the bounce and came up dry.

It is amazing to me how many interviewers will not try to get an environment where the interview can be heard w/o too much work. Yeah, get em where you can, but really? did you ask??

Lynx blow another big lead (20 pts in Q2) and lose 86-75. Did not watch the game so how did it happen? It seems the Fever Bench went off.:confused:

Reeve definitely got out-coached by Pokey.

Minny got back within two in Q4. Then in four consecutive possessions: two passes to nobody particular, an attempt to dribble through four defenders, and a pass to the post, but there was an opponent in the way. In only one case was the clock winding down. Horrible basketball. I missed the first 2.5 quarters, so didn’t see when they were playing well.

Evidently Sims went down with an ankle injury in Q2.

I think the Indy bench had 55 points--K. Mitchell, Mavunga, Johnson, and Achonwa were all in double figures.

I have noticed all season that the Lynx have serious trouble finishing. I don't know if it is conditioning. Teams take away Big Syl in the 4Q and the offense has no truly go to player. I lie. It seems Sims has the ball in 4Q and other teams know this. Sometimes I wonder about the combination of players on the floor during the 4Q. Coach Reeves is doing the best she can with the roster she has.

If you have a 20-pt lead in the 2nd quarter against a lottery team and end up losing by 11, I struggle to see it as anything other than mismanagement. Sure they lost Sims during the game, but that can’t be used as an excuse. They have good players that took her minutes.
