Canada once trailed by 17 pts, cut the lead to 1 but France was able to extend its lead at the end.

Kia led Canada in minutes (29), points (10), assists (5) and steals (2). Not bad for a 19-year-old.

This was the final game of Team Canada's European tour. It's record was 4-2 and lost to the two teams -- Spain and France -- you would expect Canada to lose to.

Both Spain and France will be medal contenders at 2016 Olympics. At least one of them will win a Medal.

Playing these practice games, the Pan Am games & the Olympic qualifiers will give her more valuable experience than an entire season of WCBB. The question is how worn out she will be by November?

She played just as much basketball last summer/fall leading up to the World Championships and did okay.

She said she was worn out after the NCAAs, had a small break and was back at it. Great experience. Tough schedule. But I do believe she gets a more substantial break this summer.

Nurse will be playing for Team Canada in the Pan Am games in July and then in the Fiba Americas tournament (Olympic qualifier) in August. She'll be busy.

I'm aware, but believe the schedule is not nonstop.

Spain and France are the better teams, but Kia is working to close the gap.

Did Celine Dumerc play for France? She's really good, though she didn't show all she has for Atlanta last season.

Not a bad showing at all for a teenager playing against some seasoned pros. Not bad.
