whether a win is home or away is already used to determine what quadrant it falls into, so how can the committee use that factor twice? a quad 1 win is a quad 1 win, once that is established it shouldnt matter if it was home or away.
The committee can do whatever they want, unfortunately.

I haven't paid attention to this but how do the seeds they have the Big East teams at right now make sense?

Indiana was one of those joke teams they had ahead of us.

We should leapfrog them easily with a win.
Yeah my initial thought is we jump Indiana/Xavier and really close the gap on Iowa State

They don't. It's a bit of "That Creighton's so hot right now".

Thanks for doing this.

Virginia just lost to BC by 15, and they only beat ND by 2 and Louisville by 3. They should not be in the top 16 anymore.

Miami's been hot, too. I'd think us and them should be replacing Xavier and IU as of now on the 4 line. Marquette and Gonzaga probably replacing Iowa State and UVA on the 3 line.

Further up, K-State might be swapping with Baylor, as well. All subject to go absolutely bats--t crazy between now and Selection Sunday, of course. Love me some bracketology.

Just keep winning...

Since release up through SJU game. Bold is a loss. Italics is ongoing or later tonight.

1. Alabama: Georgia, USC, ARK
2. Houston: Memphis, Tulane, ECU
3. Purdue: OSU, IU
4. Kansas: Baylor, TCU, WVU
5. Texas: Oklahoma, ISU, Baylor
6. Arizona: Colorado, ASU
7. Baylor: Kansas, KSU, Texas
8. UCLA: Cal, Utah
9. Tennessee: Kentucky, Texas A&M, SC
10. Virginia: ND, BC, UNC
11. Iowa State: KSU, Texas, OU
12. Kansas State: ISU, Baylor, OKST
13. Indiana: Illinois, MSU, Purdue
14. Marquette: Creighton, DePaul
15. Gonzaga: Pepperdine, USD, SMC
16. Xavier: DePaul, Nova, SHU

Miami: Wake, Va Tech, FSU
Creighton: SJU, Marquette, Nova
SMU: BYU, PAC, Gonzaga
UConn: SHU, PC, SJU

I think I got them all.

I would move them around like this not in order:
1: Bama, Houston, Purdue, Kansas
2: UCLA, Texas, Zona, KSU
3: Baylor, Marquette, ISU, Zags
4: SMU, UConn, Indiana, X
5: Tennessee, Miami, UVA, Creighton/ISU/SDSU

Figure UVA, ISU and UT all drop down to the four seed line or further, only Marquette and KSU are set to move up to at least three seeds. UVA deserves to drop a full seed just by losing to BC, losing to UNC just drops them a few more spots.

If it was as close as committee hinted, I'm split on UConn, Zags and SMU seem poised to get the 12. If I were a betting man I would say UConn is 14 right now with winner and loser of Zag/SMU game splitting 12-13 right now. Possibly UConn at 13, but unless SMU wins can't see UConn higher than that and then it's a toss-up how the committee rates SMU compared to UConn.

IU/Purdue, Houston/ECU, Depaul/Marquette and Zags/SMU still to go tonight.

You hammer Tennessee for going 1-2 but leave ISU who went 0-3?

Also I was confused by SMU, but I figured you mean St Marys

Nope, I had ISU in there twice. Moved them to the end of the five line with Creighton and SDSU but forgot to remove them from the three line. I hammered Tennessee, ISU and UVA. Remove them from the three and move everyone up a spot, though if Indiana holds on I could actually see them jumping to the three line even with the loss, win at Purdue would be huge.

Was lazy when typing and yes meant St. Mary's.

Are they going to do another reveal or is that just a one time thing until the actual field gets announced?

Beating Purdue is going to put Indiana back in front of us.
To think that three years ago, Hood-Schifino was committed to Pitt. We offered after he decommited that summer.

I have been looking for the answer to that question all day. I could not find anything that there will be another reveal but to me it would make sense to do one before conference tourneys start. Hopefully someone will have the answer for us.

Jerry Palm has us as a 3 seed at the win

I wonder how they keep the three seed. I think we will win v DePaul. Villanova on their senior night is going to be tough. Looks like Creighton in the BE quarterfinal. If we win our last two and lose the Creighton are we a three. If we split are last two games and win two games in the BE tourney are we 3? There are so many possibilities. What if we split our last two regular season games and win the BE tourney? What if we run the table possible 2?

Depend a lot on other teams. There look like seven teams that may not be locks for a 1-2 seed but they are pretty close in (Bama, Houston, Purdue, Kansas, Texas, Zona, and UCLA)

Other threes are looking like some group of the following 10 teams:

Highest chance at a two right now is one of these three:
Marquette: @ Butler, SJU
KSU: Oklahoma, @ WVU
Gonzaga: Only Tournament

Fighting for final two three spots:
UConn: DePaul, @Nova
Indiana: Iowa, Michigan
Tennessee: Arkansas, @Auburn
Baylor: @ OKST, ISU

Some fours, some fives
ISU: WVU, @Baylor
X: @PC, Butler
UVA: Clemson, UL
Miami: Pitt

Only way to a two is if all the teams above us drop at least one before the conference tournaments, UConn rolls through the BET and Marquette loses early. Perhaps need Gonzaga to lose in their tournament to a team not called Saint Mary's. Even then it would be a stretch because there is only one two that is even somewhat open unless one of the top seven collapses (Zona?)

Its going to be very hard for them to balance the Big 12 teams because you can't have teams who have played 2x in a season play before an Elite 8. So don't be surprised if UConn or someone else gets bumped down a line to accommodate keeping the Big 12 teams as 1-2-3-4 seeds.
