I just finished binging the series...has anyone else watched? Cool 6-episode (30 minutes each) series following a Navajo reservation HS basketball team in its quest to win a state title.

Definitely a worthwhile watch. It was a fun interplay between the kids wanting to play the more unstructured basketball and the legendary old-school coach trying to get them to buy into his system. That plus the interspersion of the reservation life and challenges was very well done.

Well. If I ever get the cable hooked back up so i have internet access other than the phone again, I'll be sure to check it out. Tree fell on house Saturday. Got power back late Sunday. Internet maybe tonight, maybe Wednesday. With insurance co, spectrum and eversource, i feel like I've been on hold for the
past 2 days straight.

It's crazy to contrast the gym to the poverty and lack of basic utilities that the players and their families deal with.

It's pretty hard to tell from Netflix's highlights lol. They're definitely trying to sell that angle though.

These kids need a reality check re: their prospects of playing in college from coach. Life is going to be tough for them if they don't shape up.

Res life is not easy. Some of the saddest places I've ever been.
