Was Mesut Ozil considered at all for the XI? He's had one heck of a season; but, based on the XI above, doesn't play in La Liga, which is apparently a requirement.

Not sure where they come up with the XI. But he didn't make the original list for the Ballon d'Or. Sanchez did though. Maybe Õzil will next year.

Slightly....very slightly surprised Lewandowski (sp?) not there, but in fairness who could he have bumped offf? Messi? No, Ronaldo? No, Neymar? Maybe, but hard to argue him being on the list.

Lewandowski came in 4th. Then Suarez, Mueller, Neuer, Hazard, Iniesta, Sanchez, Ibrahimovic, Toure (Yaya), Aguero, Mascherano, Pogba, Bale, Vidal, DeBruyne, James Rodriguez, Benzema, Kroos, Robben, Rakitic. Thats as far as they went.
