Before Edsall left, UConn just played Oklahoma in a BCS bowl game and had won at least 8 games in the last 4 years. PP's last games featured losses to Buffalo and Towson. Pathetic.

So you guys went from textbook mediocrity to awful.

You know your program is hot garbage when your "glory days" include an 8-5 season with a 28 point loss in your bowl game, to which you hardly even sent any fans.

Even less got two schools into the B1G.

So true and against mediocre opponents. Who was that school from Kentucky that we beat last year?

I don't know how well they teach mathematics over in Louisville. 16 championships > 3 championships. And Edsall wasn't textbook mediocrity. He just had the sense to create offensive schemes in accordance to the personnel present. You do know we defeated UL in around half the games we played, right?

Outside of the ACC, UL has no hope except the Big 12. Your arrogance is laughable.

Congrats on your women's basketball championships. They helped you guys a lot during the last round of realignment.

We still have the ACC interested. They will eventually go to 16 schools. We have 8 championships in other sports. Your stupidity is laughable.

As is your pitiful attempt for validation. Thanks for stopping it is entertaining, in a pitiful kind of way.

There's no evidence he attended any college, even night school in Louisville.

I love how the media painted such a negative picture of our Fiesta Bowl attendance that was grossly untrue and naysayers repeatedly go back to. Posters on here know the truth but for our visitors...UConn only sold X amount through the university because they athletic department put together horrible offers (one of Hathaway's great CR contributions! Thanks Jeff!) but UConn fans on the secondary market bought more than their share. This is the image I use as my avatar but here's the blown up version of the UConn side of the field. A sea of blue up the rafters:
UConn+side.jpg
Does this look like 3,000 or however many people allegedly attended the game from UConn?
Here's a view of both sections:

You could even make the argument we traveled better than OU. Their attendance numbers were grossly inflated by the Big12 buying their unsold tickets off of them.

on TV the crowd seemed pretty close to 50/50. If you added in the yellow shirts, we probably had over half, and we all know that's what most UConn fans like to wear to games.;) (I kid, I kid, let's not make a whole thing about it)
