Big Ten has 1. Woof.
A little bit of a stretch to count WBB as one of four major sports but the point still stands I guess

Someone brings that up in the responses but he notes that the WBB usually revives about 5x the TV viewership of any of the other "lesser" sports (hockey etc)
Isn’t softball a major sport? It’s about 85% of ESPN’s air time in May and June.
If you base it on revenue, baseball should be the sport which should be questioned whether it belongs.A little bit of a stretch to count WBB as one of four major sports but the point still stands I guess
I’ve watched some. Mainly at the gym when it’s the only thing on. The way these girls swing the bat it’s an entirely different game than anything I’ve seen.If you listened to a friend from Florida, who actually admits he watches softball, you'd think it was. He's so all in to Florida sports its become his life I think.
Haven't asked how he feels after both his number one ranked baseball and softball teams failed to win the championships.
I’m sure hockey wasn’t included because the conferences are different. Big 10 is the only P5 that sponsors hockey. There are mostly hockey only leagues. If you base it on revenue, baseball should be the sport which should be questioned whether it belongs.

College hockey is regional.
When I see that football revenue exceeds that of all other sports combined, I want to laugh & cry when I think of posting the response, "College football is regional."

Does anyone know how many universities are in the respective sports pots?If you base it on revenue, baseball should be the sport which should be questioned whether it belongs.

It feels like it's on all the time. I LIKED your comment because I agree, not because I want to condone ESPN's programming choices. Bring back Australian Rules Football. Way more fun to watch.Isn’t softball a major sport? It’s about 85% of ESPN’s air time in May and June.
