Someone brings that up in the responses but he notes that the WBB usually revives about 5x the TV viewership of any of the other "lesser" sports (hockey etc)

And even if you take out WBB, UConn still has as many championships as the B10 and B12 combined

If you listened to a friend from Florida, who actually admits he watches softball, you'd think it was. He's so all in to Florida sports its become his life I think.
Haven't asked how he feels after both his number one ranked baseball and softball teams failed to win the championships.

I’ve watched some. Mainly at the gym when it’s the only thing on. The way these girls swing the bat it’s an entirely different game than anything I’ve seen.

I’m sure hockey wasn’t included because the conferences are different. Big 10 is the only P5 that sponsors hockey. There are mostly hockey only leagues.

I don't think you can do this based only on revenue; there's definitely a subjective "relavancy" definition.

I don't think there's any doubt that these are the 4 most "relevant" college sports on a national level.

College hockey is regional.

I agree that at many school up here, hockey is significantly more relavent than baseball; there are also schools, especially in the south, where gymnastics is more relavent. In the Midwest, there are schools where wrestling is more relevant.

But as a baseline, across the nation, these are the 4 "major" college sports.

I get what you're saying but take some comfort in knowing that revenue is not the be all end all.

The National Championship game for CBB and The CFB Championship Game tend to garner similar ratings.

It's also worth noting that, while CFB is obviously more popular in certain regions of the country than others, Maine has a football team. Texas does not have a hockey team.

It feels like it's on all the time. I LIKED your comment because I agree, not because I want to condone ESPN's programming choices. Bring back Australian Rules Football. Way more fun to watch.
