It will be interesting to see who he chooses. Weren't UCONN, WVU, and the PAC his top original choices?

Anywhere but Providence, please. That doesn't need to become a thing.

Ugh, tell me about it.

At least go to Press Virginia.

Carter is leaving, you can get the keys from the start.

And you can't possibly be worse in close and late situations.

Good luck to James, hope he has a nice career. Always appreciate a kid who wanted to be a Husky even though things didn't work out.
I believe today is the first day of the spring signing period. Should see a lot more action on the recruiting trail today. Most of the undecideds should be signed within the next week or so.

Good Luck James, hope you prosper at Gtown (except when playing UConn!)
I was hoping you would be a Husky
Thanks for your initial commitment and desire to wear a UConn jersey

Hope it works out for him. Problem with west coast kids going east is that it usually doesn't take much for them to bolt if things aren't going well.

Best case scenario, though obviously more hope than guarantee, is that third time's a charm for Gilbert.
Waters decommitted from Georgetown after a coaching change and wouldn't choose UConn.
Akinjo decommitted from UConn after a coaching change and chose Georgetown.
Makai Ashton-Langford had the right idea but the wrong timing.
And UConn has had its small PG all along.
Or Brendan exceeds expectations.
Best wishes to James.

Akinjo seems to have an oddly specific coaching profile he's attracted to - former NBA players with no other head coaching experience coaching at their alma maters. Hope it works out for him.
If he has a great season and UConn struggles badly next year this place will be miserable.

I'll be rooting for the kid - looks like a good fit for G-town. I saw they also pulled in an NC State C transfer (Yurtseven) - so, I am curious to see if the Ewing experiment will work over time. I think having them relevant is good for basketball...just not too relevant.

Not so sure about that, though this place does have a predilection for misery, so you could be coincidentally right.
