IMO the most important commitment of the class no matter who else we get... except maybe Flagg. We'll be replacing Newton, Castle, and Spencer--our entire backcourt.
Putting the ball in an undersized freshman's hands day 1 is always a risk, but it's clear that Ahmad has the BBIQ to be successful if he keeps working hard. Solid shooter on low volume, strong as hell, great passer, doesn't turn it over and an AWESOME rebounder for his size. A real dog on defense too.
Adjusting to D1 speed, improving his finishing and diversifying his shooting package will need to be priorities for him. I'm sure he can make it happen. He's a late riser improving rapidly
