First time I will be there this weekend. (I actually had to buy a jacket at Costco as I didnt have any arctic weather gear)

Best place to park at the facility(looking on map I see outside parking and a building called the Winter Garage.)

Best place to eat/snack(or is it overpriced and I should look elsewhere.)

Is there a regular meeting place for BYers before or at halftime of game.

I will be staying in New London, about 12 miles south.

Thanks

Easiest garage for me is "Indian Summer" Easy in and out (I usually end up on level 4). But I think kids need to use a different entrance than the most convenient one and there is a pretty good walk through the casino to the arena.
I believe Riverview is the closest to the arena but I havent used it.

Not like Vegas, food prices are very high but it is good. My wife and I were there for a security conference and food was included in conference price for all but dinner meal, usually cost us about $90 for our dinner meal. That was in 2012 so may be higher now.

River view is the closest....depending on which end of the garage you park ( regardless of which floor) you will be closer to a different arena entrance. However, depending on where your seat is located you may or may not be close to the gate to your section. This could mean you will get disoriented real quick when you leave. But not to worry ....Mohegan is a fabulous place to wander around in,even when totally lost. After a few circles you will eventually find your way back to your car. Enjoy a slot machine or a table game and a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream while you’re at it.

In inclement weather, the Mohegan Sun is our walking track. In the winter we walk there almost daily. We always park in the Riverview. I think it is the shortest walk to the Arena. Any of the garages are fine and there is also valet parking. There is everything from Food Court to fine dining available. Best inexpensive place to eat is Bobby Flay's Burger Palace. Best place to dine is Michael Jordan's - bring your wallet but the food is great. Beverages, hot dogs and pizza are available inside the arena. Be aware that most restaurants will be slammed on game nights.

Enjoy the games. The Sun Arena is a great venue to watch basketball.

Thanks. I will get there early and wander around, and I am in no rush to get out either.
If there is a BY meet up please post. I met some of you at UCLA last year and at SMU 2 years ago.

we almost always park in the Winter garage, quick walk in best pizza and burgers right there, not to mention Italian bakery. Will be busy weekend as there is a RV show also there this weekend. Good fine food Tuscany and Bar American.

It's actually going to be warm this weekend, or at least warmer compared to the next few days.
