Interesting that of the 15 players on the three teams - 3 first teamers are still playing (2 Uconn one SC), 1 Second team (Uconn) and 1 third team (MsSt) - 66% of them are now at home watching.
Nice list of HM and Kia is on that list.

At this point I'm so confused by something I though I understood... that I don't even know where to go with this.
Very simple. 1st Team AA. AP/WBCA/USBWA (the 3 listed in the Media Guide) count. WBCA and USBWA give 10-man 1st team. AP only does a 5-man 1st team.

Pretty sure if Williams is making the 2nd Team AP, she'll make one of the 10 team lists.

Thanks. I had a memory leakage since the first time you explained this to me back in Spring 2014.

I see where Diamond DeShield didn't even make Honorable Mention for the AP All American list. Still having trouble seeing her stock as a WNBA high draft pick. Remembering back to her freshman year and where she is today. Looking forward to seeing what her decision will be to return to Tennessee or move on.

If I were king, I would have flipped Lou and Gabby partly because I think she earned it, partly because she is a year older. Lou will have one more chance.

more awards/list still to come out... Gabby sure to get first team on one of them.

She was 8th in the AP voting. That should get her top 10 from another panel.

I agree. All star voters usually reward scoring over other skills. While Lou leads Gabby in scoring 20.7-13.8, Gabby leads Lou in rebounding 295-135, Assists 185-113, Steals 94-51 and Blocks 48-8. By the stats, Gabby has a much more well rounded game. If I had to pick just one for my team, I think I would go with Gabby. Glad I don't have to pick.

Interesting. So Gabby could potentially have 300+ Rebounds, 200+ Assists, 100+ Steals, 50+ Blocks. I would like to know if that has ever been done before.

That is not a safe assumption.

Last year Rachel Banham was First Team AP but didn't make the 10-member WBCA list.

Lou will have two more chances. Let's not rush her out of Storrs. Also, the composition of the team is two guards and three front court players. Jones and Wilson did no more, and maybe not as much, as Gabby. Maybe one of them should have been replaced?

She missed a 10-player team? Yikes!
