I am onboard with Randy since basically Diaco was presented as the alternative.
Yesterday though I could not help but think that the offense he is working with put only 6 points on the board.
I know the AAC is not the NFL and it was just one game - but the thought did come to mind.

You really think Randy has anything to do with their performance?
Not a lot - the players did not execute - but that's his current job up until today. We always hear this stuff about his performance contract - so he better start having something to do with results on his new job.

His main function was clock management for the offense. Also, he helped with situations. Going on the road to Seattle is not easy for any team. And last I checked, he wasn't the offensive coordinator.

He worked with the Lions defense you idiot.
From the Edsall on ESPN Radio thread, post #9:

"Randy spills the beans on what his job at Detroit really meant.
"A little bit of everything." Evaluating free agents, college draft possible, special game situation plans for Jim Bob Cooter, assisting with time management and reviewing plays during the game for possible coach's challenges."

Cooter is the offensive coordinator. I almost admire that despite being 100% wrong, you can call someone else an idiot. It's a gift.
