Kersten coming out, Karl Johnson takes over on the mound with 2 out in the bottom of the 4th, two runners on.

Kersten needs good defense behind him. Up until that double, all of UH's hits have been soft...

The walks Kersten gave up didn't help, but the misplays in the field really made this inning for Houston.

Johnson gets out of the inning on a ground out. 5-3 Houston going to the top of the 5th.

Thankfully there is enough slop coming out of both dugouts tonight...

6 of 7 pitches are balls. Why do you swing 2-0?

Christian Fedko has turned into something of a walk machine this season, and he got the walk before Winkel. However, Chris only has 3 walks on the season. Just doesn't have good ball strike judgement, something he hasn't developed. I think it is the biggest weakness in his game.

That's where coaching comes in to play and he should have been given the take sign.

We have had too many innings where we fail to put any pressure on the opposing pitcher whatsoever.

How many of Houston's hits have made it out of the infield? May need to move our infielders in a step.
