I guess it comes down to whether they're good players for this level. The overwhelming conclusion is they are. Obi, Jhavon, Myers, Summers.

P's problem was not recruiting.

Just because a few of his recruits have turned into good players doesn't mean he's a good recruiter.

Whatever. We could go on. Carezola, Noel Thomas, Fatukasi.

He was a terrible coach for us. Recruiting talented players wasmt the problem when he was here.

And then there's HCBD's conditioning idea for coach Balis during the off season . . .
"You could easily say, let's click it up a notch and go to a higher level of science," Diaco said. "But you think and you're like, 'Let's do exactly the opposite.' I don't remember if it was 'Rocky' I or 'Rocky II,' 'Let's throw raw eggs in a blender, carry a log, chase the chicken around. Let's go straight medieval on these guys.'"
