@UConnHuskyAD hey Hire @LSUfootball ex head coach Les Miles as OC... Get him to UCONN Now!

FYI - Miles contract term calls for $6.4m? if terminated in 2016. Hey, the OC job in the AAC sure should sound tempting - he would pocket a cool $6m after the offset.

Maybe Miles will accept city of Hartford bonds as an IOU payment? BBB rating = bbbig bbbucks!

The only one that should be considered is Kelly. He can run an offense.

Oh....and Diaco isn't going anywhere.
I like what James Franklin did at Vanderbilt. Some jobs are just too big in terms of expectations. PSU is one of them.

I thought he did a good job at Vandy also, but some sketchy stuff happened there that soured me on him. To be honest...I don't remember exactly what though...lol.

I was off on the buyout amount (misread article)... different source says it's closer to $10m ($12.9m minus what he has made YTD).

Les Miles' buyout - FootballScoop

>>So, his stated buyout was $12.9 million, less the $3.2 paid in 2016. Hence, Les will be paid approximately $9.7 million over the next 6 years, 6 months. Assuming Les does not accept further work, he would receive approximately $125,000 / month for the next 6 years, 6 months. To the extent he accepts any other job, the amount LSU owes would be reduced dollar for dollar.<<

He's 62.

Herman will have his choices at the end of the year. LSU is open now. Maybe Notre Dame opens up? USC too? What about Oregon and Nike money? Penn State is another possibility. And if Texas/OU continue to struggle, maybe one of those jobs pries open.

There is zero chance Tom Herman is head coach of Houston by the end of bowl season, especially if UH is cemented in the AAC when the Big 12 decides to not expand at all after yanking everyone's chains for the past year.

In a perfect world...

Les Miles to Nebraska to be the DC- He has said he is open to being an assistant for big red with his son headed there as a FB
Herman to LSU- Just end the love affair with Houston's coach. The coogs will still be pretty good with the talent Herman has been able to get but they are back to being an AAC program.
Nebraska DC to Uconn to be either DC or special teams....maybe we need someone with some balls to convince Diaco to return some punts.

Remember this is the boneyard where fantasy is not only accepted but encouraged.
