Not a one gamer, and Keith Krueger is the Dan Hurley.

Wasn't it Montgomerie who didn't get out of the first last year in the AAC because he walked like the first 4 guys? Settle in buddy.

One thing Memphis has going for them is their defense. Man do we keep squandering opportunities.

Yes it was. I'm not worried at this point about him. In my mind Montgomerie is a vastly improved pitcher from both last year and from earlier this season. The improvement is striking.

Speaking of striking in season improvement, Susi has already thrown out two would be base stealers in this game. He wasn't doing that sort of thing earlier in the season.

UConn gets on the board first with a Gnesda single driving in Daniello. 1-0 Huskies after 2 innings.

Can't be making that running mistake and get thrown out at third. Nice to seem them break through though.

Seems like there's more smacking going on after that Montgomerie strike out.

These announcers are clueless. They act is if they aren't even aware that we haven't pitched our 3rd starter.

Which is a big reason why I listen to Chris Jones do the baseball games on WHUS. The kid is informed and certainly not clueless.

Nice job by Gnesda. Was afraid we were going to leave them stranded again.

Great catch by Sundberg. Montgomerie keeps playing with fire. 4 of 5 lead off guys have gotten on for them.

Montgomerie isn't totally sharp today. He has been walking the tightrope with runners on base. They would have scored off of the old Montgomerie. The new and improved model finds ways to leave them stranded, and I'm getting to love this trait in him.

There is a huge difference between Wills and the next starter after him. The location is night and day.

Too say that the umpire's strike zone is inconsistent is an understatement. He's all over the place

Very good outing for Montgomerie. Ruotolo comes in to start the 8th inning. Ruotolo has gotten so dependable in the second half of the season. I'm going to to miss him terribly next season.

Homer for Hill in the bottom of the 8th makes it 3-0 UConn!

His start may not have been as flashy as Kay's or Cate's but his start was statistically the best of the 3
