“It felt good to be out here,” Fudd remarked later that night. Fudd impressed in her return for UConn women’s basketball on Wednesday night after missing the prior eight games with a right knee injury. Her time on the court was limited to 20 minutes, but that didn’t seem to matter in the slightest as she quickly got back into her groove, recording 14 points and three rebounds in the 82-52 victory over St. John’s at UBS Arena.

At this time AZZI is so important to UCONN that just being on the floor is a real pick-up for the whole team. AZZI scored 14 points,made 2 3 pointers and had 3 rebounds. A good start for her first game in 8 games. One more warm-up and she will be back in the groove and scoring like the first game this year. UCONN really needs her in the upcoming games. So glad AZZI is back. Now we have to wait for Caroline to be back and let's finish the season in style. GO HUSKIES!!!

True, she is back. In AZZI's first 3 games, she scored 26,32and 32 again. 14 is a start to shake off rust and get into her groove. UCONN needs her scoring and court smarts, helping the team to it's 12th NC. GO HUSKIES!!!
