Nobody is making kids leave the mid majors though. If they develop and want to move up to a higher level they should have that option. And there's plenty of examples of kids making that decision both ways, not everyone is leaving. That's why despite all the complaining, there are still a lot of...
Don't think it was ever officially confirmed but all the Holloway quotes made it sound really fishy. Could end up being false but I don't really see a fit at UConn for him
When someone decides to come back and use their 5th year, yes. Just look on Twitter, there's posts every day about it happening. Latrell Wrightsell Jr was one notable example this week
That there has been zero public confirmation by a single coach, player, beat reporter, or national reporter. Even if we want to go by the post on SC it said he was making the announcement on a podcast that night and then the only quotes since then from him were saying he's still undecided
I agree with the first half, but I don't think it's a case of that being for Diarra's benefit but some other guys on the roster. I have a hard time seeing Diarra transferring
I think Diarra just has a tough decision of if he wants to be in school another year. Some guys are just ready to move...
Starts at 41 minutes. Says UConn is in a really really good spot and is presumably the leader but wouldn't be surprised if he takes one more visit to Kentucky or Michigan
Nobody ever agrees on why that happened but he did start the first game there last year before Karaban came back from his injury. But I can't see Hurley abandoning what's made us the best offense in the country the last 2 years to play Johnson at the 4 and have 2 guys parked in the paint 3 feet...
0% chance this happens. He is not a PF and we'd have 2 guys in Stewart and Abraham who are best suited as a 4 and another in McNeeley who may end up being more of a 4 than a 3
Yeah I agree, which might mean it makes more sense to replace him with someone like Kasean Pryor who's also going through the process if Karaban leaves. Unless one of these guys is willing to wait on a decision until mid May, but I doubt it
He's supposedly going to visit Kentucky and I think they're a real threat here. The rumors on Twitter are they're offering a huge bag (which we could match if we wanted) and a starting spot (which I'm not sure we can match)
This also just feels like an incredibly weird conversation to have when it appears we're bringing in a max of 2 transfers this year. This isn't even a case where next year is gonna be a transfer heavy team
