I was guessing it helps with film breakdown. gives a bird’s eye view of where he was looking at any given point. Gotta be a great teaching tool as he’s learning progressions.

This is a good point. It seems there’s some quality, but not enough depth for the losses we’ve seem each of the past few years. Hopefully they stay healthy and none of them decide to leave the team after a few games.

Why do you keep posting this crap? I have yet to meet a football fan who doesn’t love all UConn sports. Most of us were surprised by the BE move, but it’s not like the AAC was helping us. What we want is a real conference that supports ALL our sports.

I see this as good for UMass. Hockey, their only real sport, will stay in HE. Basketball will hurt a bit, but it has never been a consistent winner. In football, this is definitely better than independence. They actually have a shot at the playoff (even if small). We don’t even have that. And...

This. I cut the cord 3-4 years ago and I’m now paying 2-3x what I was paying at the start. I’ve looked going back to cable, but it’s crazy expensive now too. End result, if you want TV and especially sports you’re going to have to pay.

That was such a disappointing game. Made the 2.5 hour trip to McGurk(sp?) and left disgusted. We were outplayed the whole game. (Oh, and anyone who wants to abandon the Rent for an on campus stadium ought to check out McGurk. What a sad stadium!)

Does anyone have any hope for this game? it’s only Monday, so I’ll likely find some by Friday, but right now the season feels like a slog. I‘ll be there on Sat and would love a reason to believe again.

This. The ACC will (maybe) take SMU b/c SMU (reportedly) said they would forgot disbursements for “several years”. Heck, why wouldn’t the ACC take that if it’s true. They get SMU for free and get into Texas. UConn’s likely not making that same offer.
