The majority of server errors were caused by Tapatalk and Forum Runner, and both cost me time and money I'm not willing to spend.

Mine also stopped working for the Boneyard, but not other forums I subscribe to. That suggests the problem is on the Boneyard end. It's a little frustrating only because before the Boneyard switched over to Forum Runner, it was on Tapatalk; both apps cost a couple of bucks then.

I take the above back. I loved Tapatalk but it doesn't work here. Forum Runner is what I use here and it generally sucks for this board. There are compatibility issues. However, I prefer it to the mobile version of this site for reading most threads. Unfortunately, I can't click on links...

No. I just changed your style preference to mobile. It is much better.

Tapatalk is awful. I still use it but if I click any links on the board, Tapatalk closes. The mobile version of this site is decent if you haven't tried it.

I can't use forum runner any more. It's so buggy and pics and videos don't show up correctly. The mobile web is ok, but not great. @Fishy anyway we can sign back up with tapatalk? How much would that cost? Boneyard collection plate...

Is that an option under board settings? I know this board cost you way more money than I've ever donated so not taking shots at you! Just a slight annoyance but I'm sure tapatalk was either a pain for you or cost money.

If you access the site from a small screen and/or limited bandwidth, a special app will run faster and be more readable. By design they make the text larger and formatted for the small scree and reduces the amount of data downloaded in operation. If you are on a moderate sized screen...

Can you explain to me the reasons/advantage of using either Tapatalk which basically found useless or Forum Runner. I just don't understand why they are better than just using a browser?

Tapatalk will no longer run this site. The site is now supported by Forum Runner. (available on your app store) It's a 1.99 app. I've downloaded it and it is very much like Tapatalk with some differences. I'm still getting to know it. See this thread from a couple days ago
