Follow some of your Favorite Huskies on Twitter
I know many of those who read the Boneyard aren’t exactly “Twitter Friendly”, but for those that are, here’s a list of many of our boys’ Twitter handles. All of these accounts are public, and it’s a great way to get to see a different side of the players and get to know them better. Also, it’s a great platform for fans to reach out and let our players know that UConn Country is behind them. Personally, I have a blast following them through the offseason, and even had the pleasure of interacting with a few of them. It can give the UConn Football fan a different, and quite enjoyable experience of fandom that they wouldn’t get anywhere else.
This goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway: if you choose to follow the guys and tweet at them, don’t be a jerk about it. Encourage them, retweet things you see that you like, show them support. Let them know that we have a fanbase here that is 100% behind our student athletes, and that we are just as excited as they are for the season to start!
Note: This isn’t the entire team, these are just guys that I’ve happened to find or already follow that have a public profile. There are other guys on the team who have a Twitter handle who have them set to private, so I didn’t bother putting them on this list. I’m sure I’ve missed some, so feel free to add other names to the comment section.
