Diaco going after big names in first recruiting class
|Head Coach Bob Diaco was very busy last week on the recruiting trail, offering four recruits from the Dallas Fort Worth area. Three include recruits out of Skyline High School in Texas. Zach Abercrumbia (6-3, 225), a 2015 three-star defensive tackle recruit received an offer. As well as Carlos Strickland a big 6-4 Receiver, rated four stars and is regarded as one of the top receivers in the class. He has garnered interest from the likes of Alabama, LSU, UCLA and many more. Another four-star, highly touted recruit of Skyline, inside linebacker Anthony Wheeler (6-2, 216) was offered by the Huskies as well many other of the top programs in the country. The last one, Darrion Daniels of Bishop Dunne High School in Dallas is a 6-4, 290 pound Defensive Tackle who is also a highly regarded recruit. Head Coach Bob Diaco is going after some big name recruits in his first recruiting class, possibly some of the biggest names Connecticut will have ever landed. Any of these guys could step in immediately and make an impact on the field, as well as hype up the fan base.
