Busy Recruiting Weekend Continues

After yesterday’s commitment by Zordan Holman, who the coaching staff deems as a big get, the Huskies have received two more commitments today, OL/DE David Ryslik (Highstown, NJ – The Peddie School) and preferred walk-on Luke Sowa, from Washington, CT.

Ryslik chose the Huskies over Duke, Cincinnati, Syracuse and Temple, so the staff beat out some P5 programs for him. You can view his senior highlights, here.

It was expected that QB Kavika Johnson, from New Mexico, was going to visit Storrs yesterday, but a source confirmed that he did not make the trip, signaling the Huskies are going in a different direction. Another QB is not a guarantee for this class, as the staff is looking for the ‘right guy.’

Look for both Holman and Ryslik to join the Roadshow over the next couple of days and stay here for the latest recruiting news out of Storrs, as we approach national signing on Wednesday.
