Any chance i can use that to say I’m in jersey for online poker?
You may get past the geo-location software of some of the smaller euro casinos, but using a vpn will NEVER work with any of the bigger online us casinos.

Same here, $51/month taxes + fees included. We love it. We live in western CT and we get SNY, CBSSN, NESN, Big 10, ACC, FS1, and all the ESPNs. Unlimited DVR storage and the app works beautifully on the phone or tablet.
Actually, I found it works better on the phone or tablet than on tv’s ( I have Roku Premiere units). Most of the time it works fine on tv’s but now and then it goes into streaming circles where you have to go back out and come back in, and other times you get noticed to resign in to google with a code. This usually happens if you’ve used it that day in a remote location away from your home or on another tv elsewhere. All in all you save money but have some inconvenience at times.

Seems you lucky folks can get most of what you want as you're in the right area. Unfortunately for wife & me, we're Pirates fans (yes, there are still some of us left) and they're broadcast on the local ATTSportsnet, which is not supported by any OTT service. If we were to cut the cord,we'd have to buy an MLB.tv sub and then a VPN to get local baseball broadcasts, which kind of defeats the purpose.

If you are happy with PS Vue, you should really look into youtubeTV! YoutubeTV is superior to PS Vue in every aspect. Better picture, less stuttering, no audio glitches, etc, just a far better product!

Does it offer NFL Network/Red Zone? NFL Network comes with the package I get and Red Zone is an extra $10 a month.

Also, Youtube TV isn't compatible with the Amazon Fire (unless something changed) so I'd have to buy a new receiver.

I never had any real issues with buffering or bad picture quality with PSVue. Vue is $5 more expensive than Youtube TV for comparable package $55 to $50 to get all the ESPN's and CBSSN. Did we ever get a confirmation on whether Espn 3 is still available on Youtube TV? Also, I have a firestick in my bedroom so that could be a problem if Youtube TV is not added before the end of the year. The plan is for Youtube TV to be added at the end of the year but there is still no date. I'm using sling now for $25 as I don't need ESPN until college basketball season starts. Sling's quality is definitely worst than PSVue and I don't have the DVR anymore as it stopped working for me. Customer service was supposed to be working on getting it fixed for me but just took it off and credited me from the date I complained about it not working. I had told them I wanted the full month credit as that is when it stopped working. So I only got $2 back instead of $5. I'm a little pissed but not sure if it is worth the hassle to call to get it DVR fixed and my proper credit if I will be switching in November anyhow. Though like Rico I'm confused if I should go PSVue(Most Expensive at $55) again, Youtube TV(Maybe no ESPN3 and not work on Firestick) or HuluTV($45 but no AMC). I'm actually thinking Hulu since they are the cheapest I can probably live without AMC. I don't watch the dead series anymore and don't need to see their continuous loop of the same movies over and over.

You don't really need ESPN3 added as a channel, since you can just download the ESPN app for free and stream through that (as long as you have ESPN you should be able to get any game that is ESPN 3 only).

Yeah, but on cordcutters there were saying that even though they had Youtube TV they you couldn't get on the App with that login. There hasn't been a solid confirmation as I have heard conflicting reports.

I have PS Vue and it's awesome. Sign up for the Core level and you get all the ESPNs, SNY (assuming you're in the greater NY area), CBS Sports Network, FS1 and 2, all the networks...every UConn game. Picture quality is great too.
If you dont mind my asking, how much does this cost? I don't have a PS, but if this costs less than Youtube TV... I might consider hopping on a PS the next time I see a Spiderman bundle on sale

Core is the tier that has all the ESPN channels, NFL Network, CBSSN (all the channels you need to watch UConn games) and that costs $55 per month. If you want Red Zone it costs an extra $10 a month, but you can cancel the package after the NFL regular season is over.

You know you don't need a PS4 to view PSVue as you mentioned buying the spiderman console bundle? I think all streaming devices including Roku, Amazon Fire and Apple TV have it as an app on them. I streamed PSVue on my Apple TV before. You can't stream it on your Xbox but that is obvious. They really need to change the the name to SonyVue as I think most consumers think you need to buy a Playstation device to stream the service.

As long as you can stream the ESPN3 through the app. otherwise you will miss all the early season games not on the big sport channels. Actually HuluTv would be the best at $45 but you wouldn't have AMC. There doesn't seem to be any perfect option. The good thing is you can try it for a month and cancel and move to another streaming service if you don't like it. I know sometimes you can do this in Cable too but normally to get the best price you have to get into a cable contract.

I can confirm that you can log into the ESPN app and stream ESPN3 games with your PSVue login info. It sucks that you seemingly can't with YoutubeTV.

Fire stick is compatible with YouTubeTV as of right now. It changed about a month or two ago. the companies struck a deal and both work on each others devices.

with youtubetv its pretty easy, but you need an android. your tv is based on your phones gps. there is an app that allows to spoof location to anywhere in the world and that will allow local tv to change to where you set it. pm me for info

I think for an iphone you will need to jailbreak your phone, but apple limits certain apps from the appstore, so I am not sure you would be able to do that. Buy a cheap tablet or smartphone and then install youtubeTV on it and you can use that as your location, I believe, to get it to work.

Awesome, I think I'll look into Youtube and see if it's worth the change. Thanks for the heads up!

Only Youtube is officially available as it was added recently after being removed with the Apple/Google fighting with each other in court. YoutubeTV is still coming later this year with no official date. On the YoutubeTV site(See attached link) it even says that FireTV is coming later this year. You can do a workaround and download and app or web browser(Silk or Firefox) that will play youtubetv but the official one isn't available as of right now.

I only watch UConn games on TV; So $50 YouTube bill is better spent watching/meals/Beer at a sports bar; Any recommendations that I can get to by bus or walk from Downtown Hartford?

My fault. I thought when they struck a deal, it was right then and there that it would be available.
