Caulley was a big favorite of mine. Was a real shame that he tore his knee up against VTech and was never the same after that. After him, I loved watching the string of linebackers in Fincher, Wilson, and Moore. We really had a good run at LB for a bit. Donald Brown was another RB that was fun to watch play and Larry Taylor was always a big play waiting to happen.

Julian Campenni. Great kid from my former HS. Got me following UConn Football as my second team by rootIng for him and it kind of stuck. I must say It’s been quite the follow from Coach P. through Bobby Red Pants to now HCRE 2.0 LOL

I’d add Lutrus into that list at backer. You’re so right. We had some good guys at linebacker back then.

These modern area kids are good but they are not nearly as tough as those guys were
