Yeah, last year opponents had 4 other players on the floor they had to account for. Karaban was #5 in the UConn rotation.AK's offensive rebound and assist which started the 30-0 run against Illinois...
AK's three pointer to give Newton his triple-double...
That shot was ridiculous. It was nice to see him finally make some threes but he played terribly.I don’t even mind that miracle 3 because it would’ve been miracle to come back so it only made sense, Solo and Liam played worse then AK no one played except except maybe Reed and he had his bad sequences.
Maybe don’t be down nearly 20 in the first place, so at that point it was like throwing a Hail Mary. That shot was ridiculous. It was nice to see him finally make some threes but he played terribly.
Actually it was the turnover down 9 all the momentum. Gets a pass down low would have had a layup instead fumbles it out boundsDefinitely not the momentum-killing bricked 3 when we had finally cut it to single-digits.
Turning point of the game unfortunately.Actually it was the turnover down 9 all the momentum. Gets a pass down low would have had a layup instead fumbles it out bounds
Well they were down 20 in part because he was once again a no show in a big game. He didn't start playing well until the game was out of hand.Maybe don’t be down nearly 20 in the first place, so at that point it was like throwing a Hail Mary.
Ya the turnovers are a much bigger deal, while he had the biggest blunders, McNeeley played worse overall.Well they were down 20 in part because he was once again a no show in a big game. He didn't start playing well until the game was out of hand.
I just expect and expected more out of a 4th year junior who played the type of minutes he did his first 2 years. I guess I should have used his tournament play and bad stretches last season as a sign of things to come and not had high hopes.Ya the turnovers are a much bigger deal, while he had the biggest blunders, McNeeley played worse overall.
I believe also, but I am afraid it is moot.Hopefully still to come. Waiting for the shot to come back when we need it most
I feel like that was a killer because they scored 2 quick baskets off that in a row.Actually it was the turnover down 9 all the momentum. Gets a pass down low would have had a layup instead fumbles it out bounds

What was with all the fumbles today? He must have done it 10 times. In the first half he fumbled the ball almost every time he touched it. I wonder if there is something physically wrong with him. What was the tape on his shoulder for? Is there an injury there we don't know about?
Agreed. I wonder though how much shooting is just shooting no matter who the opponent is.Pre concussion he played 4 terrible cupcake teams, a good Memphis team, a horrible Colorado team, and a weak Dayton team. His 10 games post concussion AK was 57-125 for 46% field goals and 23-62 37% three pointers for 16 points per game.
Go look at his numbers last year and who he stacked all his big games against in the BE.Agreed. I wonder though how much shooting is just shooting no matter who the opponent is.
Said differently, a wide open 3 is a wide open 3.
