Wow, that really took an odd turn there at the 1:30 mark. It's almost like Kevin Smith wasn't sure if he was trying to copy Wes Anderson or Silence of the Lambs.

Much like the trailer for "The Human Centipede", I am pretty sure I did not want to see that.

Who would ever let Kevin Smith make a movie like that? He has directed two watchable movies in 17 years since Chasing Amy, and neither Jersey Girl nor Red State were exactly Citizen Kane. He keeps recycling the same two characters for his other movies despite the fact that they were only moderately funny 20 years ago, and now are completely lame.

He raises the cash himself and makes them fast and cheap.

Red State was like a $4M movie - it wasn't bad for a direct to video effort.

I think this one is cheaper - not sure if it's a the-ater release, but the cast certainly isn't bad. He got Johnny Depp out of a pirate costume for it.

It's worth it to see bad things happen to Mr. "I'm a Mac".

I hate movies like this, I want to see them but I don't. It's waay too human centipedish.

Dogma was better than either of those . . .

I'd comment on the fact that the word t-h-e-a-t-e-r is censored here, but I'm too confuzzled to even think of anything to say.

He got Haley Joel Osment too.

I feel the same about Dogma that I do about South Park. Funny but also pretentious and a little offensive just for the sake of being offensive.
