In a CD press conference while Geno was out, a reporter asked if Paige had an extra gear. Yes she said, especially if she gets physically roughed up.
This brought to mind a song by Jim Croce , from my era, "You don't mess around with Jim" where the chorus goes.
" You don't tug on Superman's cape"
"You don't spit into the wind"
"You don't pull the mask of the old lone ranger "
"And you don't mess around with Jim"

Well , this is good advice for any team playing Uconn. If you you think "roughing" up Paige, or trash talking her, or going up by ten points, Paige becomes a totally different player.
Baylor was grabbing her, holding her and knocked her down. A new Paige emerged, you could see it in her face. She was going to show who the real "Boss" was. 19-0 run, Uconn goes up, on to the final 4.
Just like the song, where Jim tried to bully Slim..with not good results for Jim...
