Right - then they will be clamoring to run the ball...When we go three and out in under 30 seconds, three times in a row. People are going to be furious
Stupid frigging thread ...
Evidence that Connecticut curmudgeons exist. And thank you Lord that we have spectacularly increased our Out-of-State recruitment. Our percentage rose and rose since I graduated. And, watered down the depressingly Connecticut POV.
Echoing the negativity psychology of @pepband99 , any win will be fine against a very experienced Crusaders' roster and pretty successful QB who missed the 2016 season due to injury. Unlike Pastaroni and Fiasco, show abundant evidence of quality coaching, competing hard, success actually running back punts, and absolutely zero quit with a resulting winning score. We only beat HC by 3 points.
True but expectations on this board for what this season will be seem to be overly optimistic (as it generally is the week of the first game). The kids on the team are great but BD had no recruiting clue, would not know a good, under rated player if hit in the face with that player and generally recruited good kids that are not nearly as athletic as the top of the league or most P5 programs. Edsall will need two seasons before Uconn is in a top half discussion. The conditioning is probably already better, the coaching is better but he needs more players. It would take a lot for Edsall 2.0 to be anywhere as bad or worse than what we've seen since he left. A lot.
