Then there's North Carolina. The Tarheels grabbed 26 offensive rebounds, forced 28 Duke turnovers and put up 74 shots. Unfortunately the 'heels only made 22 shots for just under 30%. Ruffin-Pratt scored the most inefficient 16 points I've seen in a long time: 5-23 FGs and 5-10 FTs. As Geno would say, that's not the winning edge.

Ooh, 33 shots at the basket yielding only 16 points. The anti-KML.

In Maryland's loss on Thursday, Alyssa Thomas shot 6-17 on FGs and 5-12 on FTs, as they lost by a single point. She did have 14 boards and 6 assists, but also 8 TOs. A real stat stuffer game. :(

I saw the first half of the Tenn Ky game..... I was totally unimpressed by the KY offense..... with a 10-12 lead in the first half, they seemed to give the ball inbounds, have that person take the ball upcourt and take an outside shot.... no working the clock a bit, no setting up the offense..... I fail to see why people are high on Mitchell as a coach.... He didn't show anything, from what I could see.

At least in the end, UT lost

If you saw some of the shots North Carolina put up, you'd know why they are shooting that percentage...some of them were literally just thrown at the rim...inexplicable...

That will help Diamond to learn what shot selection is.
