Here is my prediction:

1. UConn
…………
………….
2. Creighton
3. Xavier
4. Marquette
5. StJohn’s
6. Providence
7. Villanova
8. Butler
9. Seton Hall
10 DePaul
11.Georgetown

my prediction is we will not finish undefeated and we'll prob have a conference record more similar to 23 (13-7) than 24 (18-2). i dont think we finish any lower than 2nd place to creighton though.

Undefeated BE season is a tall order. As dominant last year's team was, they dropped 2 BE games.

I'd be disappointed if we lost 7 BE games. I don't think they'll only lose 2 again, though I wouldn't be shocked. At this point with such a small resume for this team, I really don't know what to expect. I'm thinking they'll lose maybe two to four BE games, but hate seeing them lose any.

If we lose 7 conference games I will be shocked. Have you seen any of the conference teams play? The Big East is really down this year. Wait until they start playing some of the top teams. Going to be lots of blow outs

I said closer to 13-7 than 18-2 which could be 5 or 6 losses. I agree it’s a down year for the BE which is why I think 2nd place is our floor. I think there will be a gap between us and creighton and everyone else

I wouldn't be surprised if UConn lost 7 total games this season but I doubt they lose 7 NBE match-ups.
I also wouldn't be surprised if they only lost 3-4 games total.
As the season goes along, without any serious injury issues, this team can be very, very good.

I don't think this UConn team is as good as either of the last two. That said, there's nobody else in the Big East as good as Marquette or Creighton of the last two years either. Expect us to win the league, as for places 2-3-4-5, some version of Creighton, Marquette, Xavier, St. Johns. PC has an outside shot of cracking the top 5.

If Creighton was at full strength with Zugic and Larry Johnson they would be better than last year, IMO.

Xavier and PC were derailed with injuries last season and the Sean Jones injury was huge for Marquette. I hope teams can remain healthy this season.

This is part of why I think Xavier might finish 2nd or 3rd and PC might surprise people.

Creighton lost a lot with Scheierman. Alexander and even Farabello. I probably don't know enough about Zugic and McAndrew. I didn't think Johnson was expected to play all that much. Pop Isaacs looks pretty good, but probably not as good as Alexander. I doubt Zugic is as good as Baylor S was either.

Zugic is really good and Larry Johnson was going to raise the athletic profile of the team. I think Zugic will be cleared at some point but it sounds like Johnson will redshift because of the knee. Kalk and Ashworth are better now and Jamiya Neal and Pop Isaacs will fill in nicely. Creighton's problem last year was no depth and lack of athleticism. They still aren't all that athletic but they're deeper than they were.
