Thursday at 7pm? How inconvenient! Don't people have jobs? Families?

Huh? Doesn't UConn usually have their 'home opener' on a Thursday night at 7pm? They have for the last few years.

30 minutes? Very interesting.

Yup, barely got my tickets and I purchased them at 10:05. By the time I looked back they were all gobbled up. Already going on Stubhub (for $60-$70)

So confused, because the following day for Game 2, there are SO many tickets. Like every section has high availability. Any thoughts? Did people purchase in bulk to sell on secondary market?

I don't think so because you were only allowed to purchase up to 4 seats but ST holders were allowed to buy 4 extra tickets prior to single tickets going on sale which would diminish the # available.

Saw Email this morning @ 9 am for 10am start of sale. Fell back asleep and woke up at 10:36. New to the website. Didn't know I had one of the last tickets picked. Pressed the back button. Tried again and all sold out. Pissed.

Had to buy thru vivid seats. 37, but over 53 will fees. $7 to email me a ticket? Bummed I won't get a paper ticket

Did anyone that got one from Milb website, is it a paper ticket mailed to you or electronic?

Welcome to Connecticut:

People will spend $50 to watch marginal Colorado Rockies prospects on a cold day - but UConn hosts their conference tournament and googling tickets to buy for $10 covering 10 games is too much to ask.

This place is torture

Playing devil's advocate, but I was quite pissed about missing out on a chance to see David Dahl and Kyle Freeland.

Yeah Butch was going to pick you up at the train station and carry you piggyback to Hartford.
The Trinity-Plattsburgh State hockey game last weekend was fun. They charged $6 for that game.

For $6 I hope you got to sit on the bench.

I was sitting on the visiting fans' bench. I was surprised they'd charge for a D3 game but whatever.

I'll get you my nephew's Jr. Wolfpack schedule - it's better than D3 and it's free!

D3 games are normally free. They are good hockey players, maybe many just too small for D1. I enjoy going to D3 games. Some of these campuses put UConn to shame compared to when I was there.

Yes, many elite D3 campuses look good in comparison to UConn 15 years ago.

It's too bad there isn't a USHL team around here. My cousin led the league in penalty minutes in back to back seasons. The games are a complete circus - they ride buses 8-12 hours at a clip and show up just looking for someone to punch.
