Depends. Toledo and Buffalo regularly have one of the highest tempos in the NCAA. Bowling Green and Akron too are not only efficient offensive teams but play within the faster 1/3 of the nation.
However, Miami (OH) ranked 243rd in tempo and the MAC does have a few slow tempo teams that are coupled with strong defense, especially Ball State and Eastern Michigan.
On that note, sure take Sibande's 31 points against Buffalo and 24 against BGSU with a grain of salt.
However, scoring 20+ points twice against Wright State and 18 against Bradley (solid mid-major programs, slight above average defensive teams and in the bottom-third in tempo), or averaging 15 ppg against the MAC's two slowest and best defensive schools (Eastern Michigan and Ball State), you have a long guard with an ability to attack the basket (four games with 10+ FTAs) and can help any of these teams in the running for him.
