- 12 minutes in, cruising along and then 2 seconds after either missing or ignoring an obvious travel on Anderson, the ref calls a foul on Reibe's clean block.
- Ross's steal and nearly full court drive for the dunk... that's the kind of stuff that gets the blood flowin'. Then he went and did it twice more in the game!
- Lead hits 20 with 5 to go in the half.
- Smith getting a whole lot of 1st half minutes.
- #4 on Xavier is a really unlikeable player. On D, when his man has the ball he keeps poking him in the lower chest -- right where the ribs start spreading apart. It's pretty much non stop, and he never gets called or even warned.
- After getting a pretty long stretch on the floor, Smith made one costly error and Hurley immediately sent Demary to check in. But Smith was back in after only 2 possessions.
- Reed with a double double in the half.
- 56/35/100 shooting percentage in the half. To go with 21,9,3,3,2 in boards, dimes, TOs, steals and blocks. For Xavier it goes 42,29,60 in shooting percentage, and 10,3,4,1,2 in boards, dimes, TOs, steals and blocks.
- Demary played only 6 first half minutes.
- Do NOT like the way we're playing as the 2nd half gets rolling. Our 20 point half time lead has shrunk to 13 in the first few minutes of the 2nd half.
- We can't seem to get the lead back above 20.
- The officiating is ridiculous.
- PG playing time was a reversal of the first half. Smith saw little time, and Demary played almost the whole half.
- We've had 3 powerful runs in this game where we pulled away from them in what seemed a matter of seconds.
- 57,38,85 shooting percentage for the game, and 40,18,10,7,5 looks good except for the 10 TOs.
- Reed had a mostly great game, but Ross was my choice for player of the game. He was fun to watch.
