UConn highlights...KML had 11 points in 18 minutes, 3-3 from 2 pt, 6 rebounds and 3 steals...still only 1-4 from 3 pt stripe... Bria had 9 pts on 4-8 shooting from 2 pt, but went 0-2 from 3 pt and had 5 turnovers...second game in 24 hours and USA led by 20 after 1st quarter. Looks like everyone played lots of minutes, game wasn't as close as score might indicate...Go Huskies...

Good, Good...........D-in-Nap states that game wasn't as close as score would indicate , I hope not . Because each team we played has scored more points than the previous opponent. Either competition getting stiffer or our team defense is hurting a bit.....I guess I shouldn't be wishing for all shut-outs.

USA plays loser of todays Russia v Sweden game on Friday.

According to the updates on the WUG site it is Swe 53- Rus 52 in the last minute of the 3rd qtr.
Sounds like either team is going to be the toughest test so far and the winner of USA vs SWE/RUS is not even assured a medal, just a spot in the final 4.

Red Army called in to intimidate Sweden Peacnics so Mother Russia doesnt lose face.

For USA to win Gold most likely path is wins over SWE, AUS, and RUS.
