I don't get CBS Sports, so the other night against USF, I was restricted to FirstRow. All through the first half, there was a beautiful, reasonably hi def full screen feed. After the half, first it became too low def to watch at full screen. Then, even in the little bitty window, it started looking like a really, really bad stop motion video, where the images were like 20 seconds apart. In short, absolutely unwatchable. Tried the other available feed, and it wouldn't work at all. We were down big when I had to call it quits. So naturally, I was pleasantly shocked by the win, but pissedoff that I didn't get to see boat and bazz's heroics.

My wife had what was supposed to be outpatient surgery yesterday. Figured I'd be home tending to her today, but would have no problem watching the game. Unfortunately, she had some problems with the anesthesia and they ended up keeping her overnight. No problem, the TV in her room gets ESPN. But half way through the 1st half, her doctor comes in and tosses me out into the hall for 15 minutes or so while he examines her. I went out with us down by 4 I think, and came in at the end of the half, with us up by one. Again, I have no idea how we managed that. He puts in an order for some kind of a bladder test and leaves. The RN comes in to do the test with about 90 seconds left in the game and us nursing a lead that had diminished to 4 points. By the time they let me back in the room, Wichita State was beating up on Missouri, so I have no idea how we won.

But if I have to miss winning time every game to ensure that winning time is actually winning time, so be it. I'll be happy to take one for the team.

I was wondering if it was just my internet that was poor for the USF game. For the first half of that game the firstrow feed was better than WatchESPN's quality.

The real question is how did you get a CBS Sports Network game streaming through WatchESPN?

Well it sounds like your wife took it, but thanks anyway.

I mean that it was way better quality than what I normally get when I use WatchESPN for ESPN games.

Sounds like one of those beer commercials!
