Third and short at mid-field in the 4th qtr and they give the ball to McCoombs for a loss. Either get DeLorenzo in there and give it to him or pass. I thought that was the last chance to get into the game and they squandered it. At least if Max didn't make it we'd still have a shot to run it again on 4th down.

There has been zero percent reason to run McCombs on third and short for a over a year now. That these coaches continue to do this, long after P and GDL are gone, tells me we won't miss any of them. I'm so tired of these guys.

Max does pretty well running to the outside as well. I would still like to see us use the fullback with Max and then be able to play action pass.
