The WUGs team begins play on July 6 in China; the Pan Am team begins play on July 16 in Toronto.

There were a couple of lines written about this a while ago. Morgan is not participating in USA Basketball to give her knee more time to fully heal. Geno was quoted as agreeing with her choice and praising her for making a very mature decision regarding her long-term health.

I find it odd that Bashaara Graves didn't participate in the trials. If she was not invited, it would be massively disrespectful in my eyes. I am assuming that she must also have decided to rest. I simply can't imagine that they would invite Russell, who didn't even play last season, over her(or the majority of the other less experienced, less talented post players that were in the trials). She is a seasoned USA Basketball vet.

Basharra declined as well. She had multiple nagging injuries she wanted to heal and with Italy trip this summer she definitely needed to take any extra time available.
Kelsey Mitchell and Brianna Turner are other big notables who declined as well.

only saw her play once - i believe it was her freshman year, TN at Stanford and she wasn't effective, but perhaps she already was suffering the foot ailment.

Plenty of face time among Mo Jeff, Breanna Stewart and Stephanie Mavunga. I heard Steph was asking the best route to take from Indiana to Storrs.

It will be an interesting summer for USA BB - neither of these two teams will be prohibitive favorites I think
