Hopefully John gets traded from the Cubs in a deadline deal in August. Because he is stuck in the deepest offensive prospect backload in baseball right now in Chicago/Iowa. For almost any other organization, he is a hot April/May away from being called up to the majors....but in Chicago, he would need a bus crash injuring half the roster to get called up to Chicago.

I remember him being a very good hitter with little power at uconn. Just hope that this can spring board him into an opportunity that allows him to get to bigs. Cubs are loaded....happy for the kid to get a little pub
