Womens Roster............SEC, BIG EAST, and one lonely Big-10

Went over today's Courant, with the U.S. Womens National Basketball team roster, and just chuckled. This is a SEC/BIG EAST ALL-TIME ALL-STAR team with one Big 10 throw-in.
Seimone Augustus: LSU
Sue Bird: UCONN
Swin Cash: UCONN.
Tamika Catchings: Tennessee
Tina Charles: UCONN
Sylvia Fowles: LSU
Asjha Jones: UCONN
Angel McCoughtery: Louisville
Maya Moore: UCONN
Candace Parker: Tennessee
Diana Taurisi: UCONN

Lindsay Whalen: Minnesota.


Of the Big-East Players; 6 are from UCONN, and 1 from Louisville. From the SEC; 2 from LSU, and 2 from Tennessee.

Is it because of the coaching staff? Hardly. Gotta love that BIG EAST/SEC rivalry.

Well,let's spin it so it's relevant... The Big East is to Women's Basketball as the SEC is to College Football.

Point taken... But Big East has 8 (UConn/ND) and SEC has 8 (all Rocky Top)
