WNBA Senior Watch - Preseason Edition

November 7, 2017 - We’re less than a month removed from the conclusion of another epic WNBA Finals, but its never too early to start thinking about next season.

With the announcement that the 2018 WNBA Draft Lottery will be held Nov. 13, what better time to start looking at the top prospects that will put in the work this winter with the hopes of beginning their WNBA journeys next April.

They list 8 players that will presumably be first rounders. I only see 5 being sure first rounders. Maybe Vivians will bump it up to 6 if she has a great season... not predicting that though.

They overlook a couple of Tennessee players in Russell and Jamie Nared. Billings should be a first rounder unless she takes a step back, although I've heard rumblings of UCLA not being all that this year.

They overlook Lexie Brown, my poor man's Skylar Diggins. Hard to see her falling out of the first round.

Leave room for DeShields and a possible early declaring junior and that should just about round out the first round.

I see Flaherty as a typical third round type of player.
