Also a heck of a job by Odyssey Sims joining the team late in season and helping them to within an OT battle of the finals. In the series she had one clunker in game 3 but besides that put up 27/18/18/17.
So help me if she doesn't land a contract with a team next season. Seriously...how is it that she seems to be on the outside looking in every year?

One has got to think that with the CBA, two new franchises and the rampant amount of roster turnover, she'll be able to land a roster spot at the beginning of the season.

Early morning admission:
  • Save for the fact that my wife and daughter were fast asleep, I almost screamed at Aeriel Powers for passing up a put back for an ill-advised interior pass that resulted in a turnover. Heck, try to get fouled.
  • At the end of the game, Indiana had one person -- Sims -- who could create her own shot facing the basket. And yet she did, time and again, even with Vegas knowing that.
  • Vegas probably just used all of its "WTF...how did that go in" quota of shots in OT, with Gray's jumpers and Dana Evans jumper that somehow got over Breezy Bri's fingers.
  • The Aces will go as far as Wilson and Young are able to carry them. Gray can still hit shots and be effective, but is not the "point god" anymore. (That said, I don't know who will shut both she and JY down from Phoenix.)
