Megan with a decent came but eye popping 7-7 (2-2 from 3) from Kristy Wallace with all her injury issues. Would like to see her make it but I suppose she would be in direct competition with Megan.

Pre season exhibitions in the WNBA are pretty much meaningless. Many players aren't back from overseas. Any players coming back from injury either don't play or are limited.
And they usually only play 2 games.

Lot of people complain about preseason games not being televised. I would like to go the other way and say that they should not even publish the box scores

The Chicago-Dallas game was especially meaningless. Naturally, Mabrey, Gray and Meesseman dominated against the lesser competition. I think the only Sky players in action who will actually make the team were Meesseman and Dana Evans.

I think their games should be televised. This way we get to see some of the rookies and 1st or 2nd year players before they are parked on the bench for the season.

As some have already mentioned, training camp and preseason games mean very little. You can shine and still get cut unless there is a glaring vacancy. Hard for new players to make the team unless they are early picks. Not really enough time in camp to show what your can do. Anyone can look either good or bad in that short of a time.

Shakira is going to be a nice addition to that squad. Hopefully Megan Gustafson can get some minutes during the season but it is going to be tough. My Lynx got some decent gamers as well. So many players (19) on the Lynx roster and not going to be a lot of minutes for some of them.

EDD seems to have 2 types of seasons: (1) she’s injured and misses some games or (2) she is healthy and wins MVP.

Hoping for option 2, regardless if she wins the MVP. I really enjoy watching her play.

I'm guessing they're taking into account the fact she barely played last season due to her back. I don't see it as a slight as Philippou states "There's little doubt that if/when healthy, she remains one of the best players in the world."

Yes, but kind of sad for Cox at the same time. Didn't think she got a fair shot when she was at Indiana. Hopefully she'll get a chance somewhere or play overseas and build her pro resume.
