Tonight’s WNBA game between the New York Liberty and The Washington Mystics will decide who progresses to the semi-finals and who goes home till next year. Among the UConn women on these two teams are three of our last four graduates: Stef, Bria, and Kiah. Seeing as these three were teammates in our recent championship memories, it’s going to be difficult to see either team lose.

What do you think (about this game only, not the others)?

I don't care much about who wins, but I think the difference maker will be the best ex UConn player on either team - Tina Charles.

I think NY wins tonight. But it seems that the Mystics seem to have NY's number this season.

Looks like most people wish NY to win ...................including me.

Washington's guard play is better, they should win

But Kiah comes into the game, the defense tightens,Lib go on a run
No blocks, no points, but the real D-player of the year turns games around with intimidation, determination and a nose for the ball.

Liberty up 45-37 at halftime. Tina 10/6, not hitting a lot of shots, but getting to the line. Kiah 7 rebounds in 12 minutes off the bench. Sugar Rodgers lighting it up with 14 pts in 10 minutes.

Big Mama taking it to Kiah. Poor Stephanie being guarded by Kiah on one end and having to guard Tina Charles on the other.

Kiah goes out to block Latta's last-ditch three. Liberty 77 - Mystic 74.

NY adds in fouling time - final 79-74.

Kiah with 13 Rebs, Tina 22/12 dbl dbl, Sugar Rodgers with 20 including 10/10 from the line, Candice Wiggins 4/4 from three.

NY and Minnesota are both very fortunate to be moving on. Survive and advance.

I agree - and I have to say the Fever are playing with a lot of intensity, they could sneak up and win another title. It's really anybody's to win this year IMHO

I think that the key to this series was the absence of Bria Hartley. Her progress was slowed down by her foot injuries. Last year it looked like she would make this her team. It's not her fault but just the way the bad breaks went this year.

In the other East semi I think the loss of Fowles and failure to draft Stokes Kept the Sky from advancing.
