Though teams have played only 1-3 games each, here are the top 8 in scoring, in order. Lots of familiar names:

Nneka
Stewie
Skylar
Griner
Cambage
Tina
Odyssey
Diana

Those a little farther down the list include Elena, Tiffany, and Kia Nurse!

Let's hope the "experts" do NOT anoint Wilson as the NROY, as they did her senior season in WCBB. It would be nice to see a good robust battle amongst the rookies for the year end awards without any preordained winners......

BTW I'm not saying Wilson was undeserving, but she was anointed early on and no one else realistically had a shot...

Indeed! Ariel Atkins was impressive off the bench last night. The Mystics were cold, but Ariel came in, fired away, and scored from deep, medium range, and inside.

It's SO early. Diamond won the ROY award I gathered during her first game but then lost it during her second game. A lot can happen over the next several months.

Nneka is fantastic. Efficiency machine and fun to watch.

She was fabulous two years ago. Last year, her numbers were down. I and others downplayed her success, because she had set the bar insanely high the prior year by shooting almost 70%.

Nneka and Candace are a dynamic 1-2 punch, but Nneka's doing it w/out Parker (or ANY other legit post players) for now.
L.A. is playing “small ball” and doing very well. Candace who? ;)
