1 Dallas - Betts
2 Minnesota - Fam
3 Seattle - Azzi
4 Mystics - Latson
5 Sky - Miles

Dallas would be good for Azzi personally, Minnesota would be good for her organizationally, but Seattle is a good landing place. The Seattle fans will, justifiably, love her.

I think Dallas takes Fam rather than Betts. Minnesota probably needs a post more than a guard, but Cheryl Reeve LOVES UConn players. I think if Dallas does take Fam, Minny takes Azzi.

This is the year for Lauren and Azzi to make their case to GMs in the W.

I've noticed that Lauren has been taking more mid-range shots and sprinting the floor -- at least in the first half of games. There's no question about her strength in the post. But as for the rest...

We've all seen Azzi's progress as a defender. She also needs to demonstrate that she can put together another healthy season. I have a feeling she's closer to that goal than Lauren is to hers.

I suspect that Fam is the frontrunner for Dallas unless Lauren or Azzi make their cases. We'll see how it plays out.

Kentucky down 21 to Alabama is one of the more shocking scores I’ve seen all season.

Strack 1-13 (yikes), Morgan 3-12, no Key, yeah that’ll do it

Any talk about Betts going to Dallas ignores that Dallas will be building around Paige with a young base and with Jose Fernandez as HC and his success at recruiting international players will, if it came down to one or the other for their C, will go with Fam not Betts.

While I don't think it happens, Miles going to Dallas would be an interesting choice and allow them to move Paige around off the ball.

I highly doubt Betts goes to Dallas but I could see a scenario where they take her as insurance while trying to sign a free agent at the 5. Also, if you look at the classes after this one, there are not any 5 prospects that look like lottery draft picks. We're entering guard/wing/forward dominant draft classes in the sophomore/junior ranks. Like who are the notable 5s in those classes? Strack (Junior) at Kentucky is probably the only one with first round potential.
