we were down 9 and already in the bonus. we didnt shoot another foul shot until about the 4 min mark. i still have no idea why calhoun did not make these guys full court press and attack the rim. iowa state was better than i thought, but in no way could they keep up with our size and atheleticism. i still dont get it........i think those last 1o mins were a microcosm of the season, from both the players on the floor and the coaching staff on sidelines. again, poor job by all.

yea, besides JC switching AD back onto White, not imploring our guards to attack off the bounce was one of my biggest issues. Bazz was able to get into the lane at will starting early in the game and got to the line, then Boat did the same in the 2nd half, but they didn't attack enough. That should've been the focus instead because waiting for a play to develop with Jeremy running around half-hearted set screens was not productive. Of course at the same time Bazz has to shoot better from the line at the guard spot, he has too many 1/2 trips or misses of the front end of a 1 and 1.

I don't understand what happened to the Drummond we saw at Syracuse. That kid fought for position and dunked everything. He twists his ankle, and then....

One half of that Drummond and we win last night. Were they afraid because of his foul shooting? He had White on him. I don't care if he missed 10 foul shots if the tradeoff was that White was in foul trouble.

We did get one half of that Drummond. We got the Drum part. And he was beaten like one.
