Another year of following UConn Baseball is right around the corner. As almost always , there are key players production that we need to replace. Also it will be interesting to see how our pitching shakes out. But I have confidence that with all our options, we will be fine. We always seem to have a few players that have a breakout seasons. Looking forward to seeing who they will be. As always , I would like to thank everyone that posts during the off season. I read every post, and it keeps me informed. Also for those that update games live. Please keep it up. I greatly appreciate it, and I am sure others do also. This year I broke the schedule down into 4 categories. I lumped together the New England and Northeast games into 1 category. I also added 1 category to the Post season Criteria. That criteria is Conference RPI. Last year there were 21 teams that won 40 games and had an RPI in the top 50. Only Kent State from the Mid- American Confernce was excluded. The Mid American was 20th in RPI ranking. I hope everyone enjoys this chart as much as I do. I believe this is the 15th year that the chart is part of the UConn Baseball board. I am anticipating another successful and fun season following UConn baseball, Also after looking over the chart, please let me know if you find any discrepencies. Go Huskies!!! The 3 Criteria (1) Minimum 40 wins (2) RPI less then 50 (3) Top 2 teams in Big East current record........... season goal 0 - 0 / .000% ........ 14 - 8 / .636% - National 0 - 0 / .000 ......... 9 - 3 / .750 - Northeast 0 - 0 / .000 ......... 15 - 6 / .714 - Big East regular season 0 - 0 / .000 ......... 2 - 2 / .500 - Big East tournament Post season Criteria (1) 0 - 0 / .000 ...... 40 - 19 / .693 (2) Team RPI ....... < 50 (3) Conference RPI ........ < 12 (3) Not yet applicable ........
