Check out all the positives from UCF's phenomenal year.
"The overall lost revenue from the disrupted games cost the school about $1.5 million, but it was offset by the $3.8 million payout from the Peach Bowl success"
Total new season ticket sales as of Feb. 12 stood at $1.25 million, shattering last year’s record number of $1.07 million in new season ticket sales.
White said he expects the school to smash sales milestones considering the primary season tickets sales period doesn’t kick in until the spring.
The school also brought in 1,575 new season ticket accounts since Jan. 1, its highest amount since the stadium first opened in 2007. Season ticket renewals are also around 90 percent sold.
Additionally, Barnes and Noble saw a 5,000 percent increase in online sales in January in comparison to last January. More than 90 percent of that came from the sale of football championship merchandise. Athletics receives a small percentage of revenue from a licensing agreement. But this is just a small portion of what the school could stand to make off of licensing championship apparel sold at stores such as Dick’s Sporting Goods and Academy Sports + Outdoors.
UCF to receive big financial boost from Peach Bowl
Like every fan, hoping Randy and team can right the ship. Nowhere to go but UP!
