Congrats to Huskies for a well-earned first win. A lot of thoughtful lessons learned from the last 10 minutes, though. How you close out games will affect other much closer games. Tonight the Huskies did not finish well. I thought Nolan could not exude confidence. He really needs to add weight and strength. Brimah will become very important in close games. But he has to avoid making silly fouls.

Once Brimah learns proper positioning and rotation, especially on the pick and roll, he'll be a real force on the defensive end. He clearly has the biggest upside of our bigs. I would be shocked if he isn't starting over Nolan next year, if not by the end of this year.

I have no idea what Facey's role is going to be.

Next year, he's probably our starting 4 (unless Lubin is next year's Brimah). This year, with DD there and NG backing him up, he's fighting uphill for minutes. Not only are those guys good - and upperclassmen, but they are completely different players. Our entire offense would have to change with Facey at the 4.

He'll have some chances to give us a spark this year, but he's probably a guy we'll groom for next season when we'll become a more traditional 3-out, 2-in team. His chances to be an undersized 5 this year probably evaporated when Brimah emerged as a guy who needs those minutes.
